Netflix Anime-Present and Future!

Netflix_Logo_Digital-VideoI want to talk about Netflix anime present and future. The anime that I am going to list are mixed between Netflix exclusive and not exclusive. I happen to subscribe to Netflix and watch anime on it all the time! I am always happy to watch new ones and even old ones. The cool thing about Netflix is that they are now making anime original to theirGlitter-Force-glitter-force-39312668-2048-1152 site! Starting with Glitter Force, Its a Netflix exclusive. It has 2 seasons!

1~Glitter Force

Five preteen girls learn they’re a legendary
superhero squad known as the Glitter Force.
Their mission? To defend Earth from
evil fairy-tale villains.


2~Perfect Bones (1 Season)

Perfect Bones is set in the future where frame_0000_large
scientists have tried to create the “perfect human”
in hopes of keeping peace in the universe.
After nearly achieving their goal through several
children, the scientists send their “new humans”
for further training where they are kidnapped by an evil
organization set on using their powers to implement
their own concept of a new world order.



3~The Seven Deadly Sins (2 seasons)

When a kingdom is taken over by tyrants,
the deposed princess begins a quest to
find a disbanded group of evil knights to help
take back her realm.



4~Kuromukuro (2 season)visual_07_2
A mysterious relic is discovered during the
construction of a dam. In order to study the
artifact, the United Nations Kurobe Research
Institute is established. Scholars from all over
the world gather here, their children attending
Tateyama International High School.
Among them is the Institute Director’s daughter,
Yukina Shirahane. In the summer of 2016, a samurai rises
once again.

A hero rises to save a world that’s also a spaceship under
siege by an alien threat in this original anime series
based on the popular manga comic.





6~DEVILMAN crybaby (1 season) (*Spring 2018)

Akira Fudo is informed by his best friend Ryou Asuka that the demons will revive and reclaim the world from the humans. As the humans do not stand a chance against the supernatural power of the demons, Ryou suggests fusing with a demon. Akira becomes Devilman, with the power of a demon and the heart of a human.





7~Cyborg009 Call of Justice (1 season)Cyborg-009-Call-of-Justice

Years after taking up normal lives incognito,
the cyborgs are forced to fight again when
the superhuman
Blessed appear with a plan for humanity.
director Kenji Kamiyama who also directed Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex





8~Ajin-(2 seasons)

High school student Kei Nagai Ajin-anime-visual
is found out to be an Ajin – an immortal demi-human – and
finds himself pursued by the police and the government.
Sato, a fellow Ajin whom Kei meets while on the run, has
crafted an ominous plan. Kei just wants to live in peace,
but will that day ever come?
What must he fight against?

A third season is announced for Fall 2017!




9~Magi: The Adventures of Sinbad(1 season)Magi-Adventure-of-Sinbad

Years before he ascends the throne,
Sinbad grows up in a fishing village.
After his father dies, his mother asks Yunan to
take Sinbad under his wing.






10~Castlevania (Will have a four-part season) *30-minutes per episode.
They said that its going to be “R-rated as f***”
America’s first animated series for adults!

Honestly I’m so hype for this anime!




11~Blame! *Movie! Blame-Anime-Film-Adaptation-Announced
Netflix’s first ever anime movie! Coming soon in 2017
The movie created by Tsutumu Nihei will
be set in the future with humanity being
hunted by exterminators. With the goal will be the survive. How will it end? Find out later this year!

A summery is that I expect Netflix to keep up with other sources such as Hulu and CrunchyRoll as an attempt to keep and also gain new subscribers. Now I don’t think they will come close to those other networks but they will have anime that people will pay to see!

    When Hulu took most of their anime off I was hoping Netflix would expand their anime section, and they seem to be on the right track!
